Description

Stress is inevitable in our busy and hectic lives, but it not only reduces the quality of our lives, but it also depletes us. Fortunately, there are proven, effective strategies that you can use every day to combat the negative effects of stress and develop healthy relaxation habits.

The success of Martha Davis, Elizabeth R. Eshelman, and Matthew McKay’s book “Relaxation and Stress Management: A Workbook” speaks for itself: it is now in its seventh edition and has sold over a million copies. This updated workbook will help you explore your own stress triggers, identify your symptoms, and create a personal action plan to reduce stress.

Each chapter describes different relaxation techniques, explains why and how they work, and suggests exercises to do when stress becomes overwhelming. If you’re looking for real, actionable ways to manage stress, this workbook has everything you need to learn how to calm your body and mind in an increasingly hectic world.

This book is a great resource for laypeople and professionals alike, who will find it to be a powerful tool for managing stress.
