About the modern classic - the artist Volodymyr Mykyta.
Volodymyr Mykyta is a painter, People's Artist of Ukraine, master of the Transcarpathian art school. He has a lot of life experience: he was born in Transcarpathia in 1931 and survived five state formations in this territory. The artist deliberately devoted his life to the creation of the annals of Transcarpathia. He preserved in his works and poeticized the daily life of Transcarpathian peasants, Transcarpathian traditional culture.
In his 90s, Volodymyr Mykyta is full of life-loving habits and artistic inspiration - he paints, smokes a pipe, drinks red wine at lunch and drives blue "Zhiguli", who are over 50. He boasts that over the years he has acquired clear vision instead of acute vision.
